These are just a few of the recent businesses I have seen on TikTok. Dog lovers are spending more and more time with their pups. And spending more money than ever. According to Forbes, in 2022, Americans spent $136.8 billion on their pets, up nearly 11% from 2021 ($123.6 billion). They are important family members and deserve to be treated like one!

Watercolors & Whiskers in NYC

This is a painting workshop with puppies. The programs promises to lower stress with both the painting and the interaction with the pups. Animals are brought in from local breeders and shelters. A portion of the proceeds also go to shelters. There is also one with pigs- how can you say no to that!

Mutts & Martinis in St Petersburg, FL

This is a dog friendly sports bar. There is a dog water park as well as a shaded play area. You can also take your dog inside the bar. I would love to see more establishments like this!

Doggie Sweets in Long Branch, NJ

Doggie Sweets hosts dog events such as birthday parties and events such as specific breed meet ups. They have a cafe as well as a food truck. They offer multiple packages to ensure your pup has the best birthday!

Tales & Tails book cafe in Fredericksburg, VA

This bookstore combines the love of books with their love of dogs. They have a dog friendly patio where you can order coffee and a book to enjoy. The best part is they also highlight dogs in need of a home!

The Mobile Barkery in California (LA area)

This is a food truck for dogs! Why shouldn't dogs have their own treat truck? Ice cream and cookies are just some of the products. You can find them at dog parks and dog friendly beaches.

Soft Paws in Southport, UK

It's called soft play for dogs. You can book 30 minutes sessions for you and your dog. Ball pits, tunnels, and just a ton of fun! Everything is soft and padded- no hard landings for your pup. Please open one in the US!

Camping has gone to the dogs! Swimming pond, trails, and multiple off leash areas for your dog to explore. Stop in the bathhouse to pamper your pup. There is hook up for your RV or rent one of the site's RVs or cabins for your stay.

I love a pug so this one immediately caught my attention! This cafe has pugs available to snuggle with. Mornings are so much better when you can have your coffee with a side of pug. The best part is there are pugs available for adoption. I love this so much because what a great way to potentially make a love connection!

Fly with your dog without the stress. If your dog is 40 lbs. or under they can sit on your lap for the whole duration of the flight. Over 40 lbs. they will require a seat next to you. Water and treats will be served!
